Malvaceae

A large family of flowering plants with about 4225 species.  There are many economically important members of the family including cotton, cacao, okra and hibiscus.

Hibiscus acetosella (Cranberry Hibiscus, or False Roselle)

Hibiscus brackenridgei (Hawaiian Hibiscus Maʻo hau hele)  This is the Official State Flower of Hawaii.

Hibiscus kokio saintjohnianus (Kokiʻo ʻula)
