Moringa hildebrandtii (MH) - Bottle Tree Seeds

This species is extinct or nearly extinct in the wild and seeds have been scarce.  They may take several weeks to germinate and have often low germination rates.

Seeds obtained from three suppliers have failed small scale germination tests and may not be viable.  Quantities of these older seed lots remaining in our seed bank are insufficient to perform additional testing.

One large new lot of these seeds grown on Gran Canaria Island was received in 2021 and had a satisfactory germination rate.
