Phytosanitary Certificate Fees (USDA)

Phytosanitary Certificates may be required for shipments of plants or seeds to domestic and international destinations.

Generally, certificates for shipments within the United States are issued by the Hawaii Department of Agriculture or other states without charge.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture USDA charges fees to the exporter (us) for inspection and issuance of phytosanitary certificates for shipments to destinations outside the United States.  This must be paid in before the inspection and we require our customers to reimburse us for these fees when the order is placed.  The fees are set by the value of the shipment.
