Mexico: Various Origin Locations
These are pure seed lots of various landraces and varieties of nitrogen fixing corn originating from growing areas in Mexico. Naming generally follows that provided by the supplier, which is by the color and size of the kernels. Those of similar color and size from different origins may be have additional designations as Type 1, Type 2 etc. We are dependent on our suppliers for origin information and cannot confirm it. The year of harvest is unknown.
All of these seeds are treated by drying and freezing before sale to control insect pests and maintain viability in long term storage. We do not treat the seeds with pesticides.
Because corn wilt may be present in the areas of Mexico where these seeds originate from they cannot be shipped to the European Union and certain other countries. After inspection they can be shipped to all U.S. destinations.
Our prices for these seeds reflect the high costs of acquisition, processing, filling small orders and travel for inspections.
