Origin: Most are from southern Mexico.  The seeds of one landrace of blue-balck seeds are from La Fe, Coahuila, Mexico.  Harvest dates are unknown.  Kernel appearance: blue-black, which is often referred to as blue corn. Average weight per seed: varies by landrace and lot number.  The estimated germination rate for these seeds is 80+%.

We offer seeds from several lots of this blue-black color.  They may be of different origins and landraces so the lots will be sold separately as types 1A, 1B and 2.
