Nitrogen Fixing Corn: Hilo, Hawai`i, 2023 Harvest

These seeds were grown in open pollination and harvested in 2023 from plants grown at a research partner’s farm in Hilo, Hawai`i from seeds of nitrogen fixing corn landraces originating in southern Mexico.  Each of the listed seeds lots was obtained from a single ear of corn.  Photos of the seeds and average weight data are provided with each listing.

March 2024 Update: Most of our inventories of these small seed lots are depleted. A much larger inventory of seeds from this source is expected to be available by fall 2024.
