Nitrogen Fixing Corn Seeds, Giant Pink

These are seeds are as shown in the photo and mostly from cobs described by the farmer as Giant Pink. They are probably the second generation of corn grown from seeds produced at our Discovery Harbour facility.

The Hawaiian name for this type of seeds is:

Kulina `akala pilikua

 

The average weight of seeds in this lot before final drying was 0.28 g.

Based on testing of a small random sample of the seeds they have an estimated germination rate of 92%.
