Data in this section is from our observations of plants in cultivation at the Moana Experimental Farm located at Hawaiian Ocean View, in the Kau District of Hawai`i island.

Plant Growth:

Rapidly growing variety.  Some stems have twisted form.

Disease Resistance:

Canker Resistance Level: Moderate. Canker lesions result in persistent scarring.

Summary and Recommendations:

Canker resistance is highly variable among the plants. An infected plant totally lost to rot may be growing next to a plant with no evidence of infection. Good production of large, high quality fruit from plants grown on ground. Recommended variety.
